I need to program pic 16f877a. I have zigbee connected to one end of pic fro mwhere i am getting the input to pic and electric door strike connected to output of pic 16f877a.

I want the program that compares the input voltage coming through zigbee and compare it to the default voltage of microcontroller.

And if it is more than 3 volt than i want to throw the output to voltage amplifier or on any output pin of microcontroller.

I also appreciate if you give me idea how can i connect voltage amplifier to microcontroller.

I need voltage amplifier because my electric door strike needs more than 6 volts.

Thank you

Why not use a 6v supply and LDO voltage regulator or a diode to drop the voltage for the pic to a value within its operating range. Then use a transistor to switch the output voltage, from the 6v supply for your door strike.
