    hi
we want to know what is the material used to sense the temperature in lm35 and how it gives the output in voltage form.

Re: working of lm35 temperature sensor

Have you tried reading the datasheet? http://www.national.com/ds/LM/LM35.pdf , there is a block diagram of the internal circuitry. I didn't read the datasheet, but they probably give an explanation somewhere.

Require explanation for temperature sensor(LM35) internal circuit.

Have a look at this link, which is having an internal circuit of LM35..

    Regards,

lm35dz is an transducer.... which converts heat energy to electrical energy... i think u have to learn about energy conversion of thermister & themocouple try to see pt100 sensor...

The LM35 give you an output of 10mV/degC viz 20 deg C = 0.2 VDC
