Very good book about this problem is
G.A.Rincon-Mora, Voltage references. From Diodes to Precision High-Order Bandgap Circuits, IEEE Press.

Try to find papers of this author through internet.

A precision curvature-compensated CMOS bandgap reference. IEEE. Solid-State Circuits. pp634-643. Dec. 1983
Sorry, I cannot down the paper from IEEE.

The curvature compensation for the bandgap reference voltage with CMOS process is comparatively difficult contrasting to Bipolar transistors. Because the MOSFETs have bad temperature-dependance, but the temperature-dependance of bipolar is very good.
