Hey guys,

Are the ground pins on AVR Atmegas usually connected internally or do you have to make sure that each one is connected to ground on the PCB? Particularly the Atmega128.

Thanks for any help,
Jeremy

as well as all VCC n AVCC pins to +5V...

Ok. Thanks for the replies. The reason I asked is that I had a professional board made and somehow or other I overlooked connecting one of the ground pins to ground. My programmer is having trouble getting the USART and midi stuff working and I wondered if it might be because of that pin not being connected. I couldn't find anything in the data sheet related to this.
