Hi dear all friends,

I have an RC circuit, in which two parallel resistor and capacitor are connected in series with a capacitor. I want to measure dissipated power of this circuit, but I have some problem with measuring phase difference between voltage and current of voltage source (which is a square wave). Though it is so easy to find phase difference between two sinusoidal waves, I was wondering how I can measure it for two square waves.
(please take a look at the attached pic)

Measuring the phase difference won't help you to calculate the power. For waveform other than a sine, you have to determine the averaged product of instantaneous voltage and current.
