voltage doubler & DC DC converters ??

Hi ,

Can we employ voltage doubler/tripler using capacitor & diode at the output of any switching boost converter to get a higher voltage of our likeness?Is there any limitation in this method..?

Of course you can.
The limitations are the same as those of charge pumps, ie parasitics, component rating ...
