at 89c51 dc motor control

i am using at89c51 to drive dc motor with l298 driver.
i checked code in keil. its giving required output.
but wen i load it to proteus, i dont get any output.
pls help

what's the message proteus gives when you run the program?

doesnt give any msg... no errors.. but no output
 

L298 is fine..
its working ! :-D
i had connected the switches to gnd. instead made it to vcc
 

is it possible to display speed of motor in proteus??
is there any method other than using a lcd display?
