I have a video which consists of the bird movements in the sky during night time and I would like to estimate the direction of the bird motion and for this purpose I am planning to implement the Motion Estimation Algorithms like Block Matching Algorithm and Phase Correlation Algorithm...

Is this enough or should I try implementing any other algorithms...

If so please provide the information regarding!!!

Any help or suggestion is sincerely appreciated!!!
