Allegro- Editing a single Via's size

Hi mate.....

I am using allegro 16.2 PCB editor, in which i want to know that how to edit the size of individual via of one type. I tried like this,.. tool --> padstack --> modify padstack--> Then i selected the via, which need to be edited.

After some edition, i updated it. but, all the vias have been edited along with that selected via.. But i want to edit only one via.. how can i do???

Here in my tool, there is option like option. but i couldnt see the single via replace mode... can u plz say me the clear path???

Hi Prince,

While replacing via click on "single via replace mode" and then select required via ,then replace it with new one.

u can change the for entire net also in that u need to give net name for different via

hi prince..

now u know how to change one via alone to differnt padstack..

plz do like below


sigle via replace mode--need to on

old-give which padstack need to change
new-new padstack name
symbol-dont change any thing
pin-dont change any thing
refdes-dont change any thing
net-give net name in this column


ex: u used 8/14 vias 50 for gnd and 10/20vias 50 means now u want to change 8/14 gnd vias 50 to 12/24 u can change this way..



let me know if u have doubts
 
thank u so much for yr immediate reply sir.. as u told , i ll tyr out sir. But, as u have mentioned in example, all the vias of 8/14 size ll be changed into 12/24 size.. right??

only 8/14 vias(for gnd net)other net 8/14 will not change
 

anyone have link for me to download more library and mechanical package?
