Virtuoso XL place and route

Dear all,

I have a simple logic circuit which is instance from standard cell. The number of standard cell is around 100. As I know the Virtuoso XL provide a simple software to do place and route. I have searched one link (**broken link removed**) which teaches how to use this software. However, I could not succeed to generate it. Could anyone give me some detailed notes to use this software?

I know Cadence provides this place and route software. However, I don't need so powerful EDA.

I found it some time ago in this forum, don't remember when and where. I guess it's a lecture note from MIT.

No, I just used the link you provided, and checked the tutorial.
