hi guys!!
i am currently conducting a research paper about an FPGA based project.
its application is for automotive and i cannot decide which Board to use.

anyways i'll be applying FPGA in voice recognition and braking system applications.

i am new to FPGA designing

thanks

sir please do guide me on this one..
i'm looking for an FPGA Board that supports my project..i saw development boards at the altera web site .. cyclone II and III development boards.

i'd like to ask what is the difference between (DE2-70 and DE0) and (cyclone II and III development boards) at the altera web.. because there is a difference in cost..

thnaks:p

You can scroll down to specifications to learn more about the features of the board that you'll be needing.

In your case, since you'll be doing audio DE2 will be best bet because of board ADC & DAC, whereas DE0 is not even close.

ah ok.. thanks a lot sir..by now i'm looking forward of purchasing a DE2-70.. i'm a bit confused with DE2-115.. because it also has audio application.. does it support automotive application for my braking system?

DE2-115 is based on Cyclone IV FPGA, as opposed to Cyclone II on DE2-70 and has better features, so you can expect higher performance out of it.

And since its only $30 costly, DE2-115 would be ideal choice.

Good luck

is the cyclone family/series are dedicated to be applied in automotive? because i will be using DE2-70 for voice recognition and for manipulation of car brakes.. since altera site cited cyclone II automotive to as one of its end market.. does this also apply for cyclone IV?
