Hi,
i doing my project in zero current switching in buck-boost converter, i really suffer with the design of the circuit and how to calculate the values, and how to begin.
if any of u know about any links,
please help me,thanks in advance

Hi,
What are you using for switching, mosfet or bjt.

Let me suggest that you think about "near zero" current
switching. If you begin to switch at the zero crossing
you will be past it when you're done. The FET gate charge
Qgd component needs to slide on out the drain and if the
FET is (nearly) off and the drain isn't moving, it can't.
The drain dV/dt should be used to finish the job, it's sort
of a freebie energy-wise. But this means you have to
lead the sense-able event and that then means a
negative delay-locked loop (which can be simple in form).

If you don't have or don't trust calculations, a decent
simulation (LTSpice, it's free) will let you cut and try
easily enough.

Of course professors love their equations and may insist
you do it correctly rather than efficiently.

mosfet is used for switching, i really don't know how to deign zero current switching with equations. please post me any material regarding this topic.
thank in advance
