Hi, i am looking for veeery cheap solutions for a Buck converter 12 to 5V 0.3A and a SEPIC 10-27V to 14.1V 1A. Can any point me any very cheap IC for this task? Would a MC34063 be a good option for the Buck converter? Down to 75% of efficiency would be ok, i just need a very cheap solution and ICs with a high availibility on the market.

Thank you!

Look at the L5973D from ST - cheap and available and low component count
