can any one say how the parameters like inner and outer radius of coaxial feed is calculated... i m working on cst ... what r the equations to followed ... tell me a text book which has direct equation for finding this parameters.. i working for 2.45 Ghz frequency.... plz help quick...

HI
best way to do is to look into the size of the SMA connector.look at its radius(inner and outer) for the desired frequency level and then use the same dimensions in your simulation.

Hope it helps

Best Regards

The dimensions of the inner and outer radius of the coaxial feed determines the input impedance of your port.

Goto Macros -> calculate -> Calculte analytical input impedance
you will find there the coaxial feed , and work the dimension of your port to match your impedance , 50ohm for exp

Responding to Rotmanlens , SMA coonectors are matched to 50ohm by default , but there is alot of combination that can lead to 50ohm

regards.
