Hi.
I have two batteries Li-ion(Mn) types, 3.8V 460mA. I have to use them in series to icrease the voltage. The application of the batteries belong to a circuit which is encased so not easy to take them out frequently for recharging.
My question is, Is it good to charge these batteries while these are connected in series?
What is the optimal voltage and current for charging each battery.
Thank you all.

That's OK to charge them in series with voltage balanced Charger Circuit. Charger circuit can automatically regulate charging current. Some commercial IC is available.
