Without using built in Matlab of Filter toolbox command to design filter. How can someone write Matlab code or C language to design any order of filter by automatically calculating the Inductors and Capacitors value. I am only concern about Chebyshev 1

How can someone use the cauer 1 synthesis techniques to design Chebyshev low pass filter?

In this case no table is needed. Can this be realized? Who has designed and implemented this before?

These are softwares. There are no tips on how to write the code or the program itself using Matlab. This is what I need. There are software doing it, what about tip to start writing the code. Please! Any other suggestions

There are standard tables (any filter design book should have) for designing Chebyshev, Butterworth etc. Based on the filter specifications, how much ripple in dB you want to tolerate and how much attenuation is required, the filter order is determined. Then you can find out the normalized values of inductors and capacitors from the table. Then you need to do frequency and impedance scaling to get the values of actual inductors and capacitors for the required design frequency.

I know about using table to design filter. That is not the issue at the moment. The issue is without using table, Darlington formulas are neccessary to determine the inductors and capacitors. I can calculate it. I want to write the code! I am struggling. I know it is possible, but I need tip! Any programmer!

What are Darlington formulas ? If you can upload the document/pdf file explaining how the values are determined, I can help with programming.
