I have prepared one control card for driving a DC drive with input 2 phase 410 volts AC, I want to interface with some micro-controller
preferably ATMEL mega8535 to give all control as

speed reference
Tacho input
Torque input
Current input
voltage input
all faults over current, over voltage, and other parameters speed refernce, tacho feedback can be seen on LCD display,

this is just for fun I am making my circuit slow by slow,
it is growing some body help will boost my job

thanks

hi pervez
have some adczz
sence load for torque
some volts for voltage input
for amp etc
just tell where are u losting in which layer

I have prepared this on seimens IC TCA785
and power module 26 amp 1200 volts one double diode and double SCR
and this works as half bridge.
circuit is similer to TCA785 PDF example but with some changes
I have used FET IRF540 to drive the SCR.
pulse transformers I have build myself. with 2:1 ratio.
when i gives 0 to 10 Volts. it nicely work.
I put one DC motor and one 200 Watt bulb in the out put to see performance of this drive.
I observed it control the light and speed very nicely and smoothly as volume control is turned.
I also observed that speed is maximum when the wiper of volume control at zero level.
I want to proceed to complete it with tacho feed back
My tacho generator is 60 volts per 1000 RPM.
i want to add current protection say adjusting limit 1 to 5 amp maximum
limiting the current and finally tripping the drive.
I also want some fixed or variable ACC and DE-ACC for the smooth start and stop of the drive.
