Help required (Interfacing mmc/sd card to pic 18f4550)

i have been assigned a micro controller project involving 18f4550.
My project is to log data (temperature, Humidity, & light Intensity) on memory card. I am using ccs Compiler (PIC C) for programming, but every time i try to initialize the card it give error.

Any Help regarding this will be highly appreciated.

Hi,

What is the make, model and size of the SD, mSD or uSD card you are using? Also can you upload your code and schematic of your project? I'll take a look. I have not used CCS much, however I do have many code examples which I know function properly. There are some cards which require reformating or wiping on a pc, before the function correctly. Some, mostly HS versions, are just not compatible with the current libs.
