AT89C52 microcontroller and programmer

where i can buy this microcontroller and programmer in small quantities?
i have search everywhere but that website sell at quite large quantities.

one more thing, can i change at89c52 to at89s52?
becoz at89s52 is more cheaper and easy to search for its programmer compared to at89c52. it there any consequences if i change this two?
 

u can program the "S" verison through ISP or using very simple programmers, the "C" version still needs "full" parallel programmer

89S51 has more features than 89C51
- ISP programming ( In system programming)
- Watch dog timer

You'll get 8051 programmer for all 89XXX Devices using USB port for 1650/- including postage anywhere in India

Absolutely there is no problem in changing the variant of 8051. sunrom offer programmers for 1450 onwards

if you are making on your own then you have threads in here. but you are planning to buy , and you are in bangalore, or want to buy online then refer SUNROM.com or NSKelectronics.in

these two deal with programmers that are good.
