can any one suggest me which software is used for burnig(downloading) 8051

is it possible to burn AT89S51 with flash magic

i am using AT89S51 controller for my project is it possible to burn that controller with flash magic

It supports ISp what is the problem. Flash X supports and but flash magic does not support it.
89s51 suppports serial and parallel port programming

What will the programmer do if the software does not support the contoller.
There are many tested and proven programmer in this forum already. you can take it. instead of trial and error.
If you have lot of time for trial and error you can go ahead

By the way what is this circuit about. its normal 8051 circuit. Its not programmer circuit. 89s51 supports ISp. go for that,

with this circuit i am able to burn my P89S51 RD2 controller...................... and i have done many projects on this circuit

but problem is that i am not able get the proper circuit for burnig AT89S51 controllers,
 

Why you need a circuit i dont understand. When it supports ISP mode and serial mode tooo. Check the data sheet of 89s51.
If you keep reset pin high then it erases and programs the flash memory.... see section 16 and below

I your circuit thre is a seperate switch, maybe it is for programming purpose. did you not see that

k is there any other software other than flash magic for burning code?????

what is that flash X software , whether i can burn AT89S51 controller with that?
 

refer my above post flashX can be used.

Why dont you change to any other cocntroller for that purpose. go for Philips P89c51/ 52 or any variant of these or at89s52. supported by flash magic

WHICH WEBSITE, THERE IS NO REFERENCE ABOUT THAT.

Hardware time out because the proload and controller are unable to communicate.

try changing the hardware model in the software with all option out of 3 options only one will work.

hi it is working 5n. i checked thro hyperterminal by shorting 2 and 3rd pins
if i use 89S51RD2 controller, burning is successful by flash magic

but at89s51 burning is not possible using proland

Can you tell there is a switch and 2 points 1 end of that are connected to port 0.0 i suppose, but those 2 points are not connected or shorted. what is it used for?
Its purely communication problem... controller and proload are not communicationg

hi that switch is used for some other applications , i have burnt many p89s51rd2 controllers by shorting or without shorting that switch, using flash magic, all the programs are working

but i m not able to burn at89s51 using proland now
