How to find the sensitivity of an AM Modulator circuit.
Hi , i have this AM Modulator .. its a low level modulator ..with a bc548a transistor .. and i hav to find the sensitivity of this circuit .. how do i find it. ? .. I hav this due today . .. can nyone please help me out with this ? \

You may want to define the term "sensitivity" of an AM modulator, I don't know exactly what it is. The shown circuit is basically an overloaded linear amplifier, so it will surely produce some AM besides other intermodulation products and harmonics. I think, that it's a rather unsuitable way to study amplitude modulation. I would start with a simple ideal multiplier, you may add a carrier component, if you don't want supressed carrier AM.

If you are required to study the present circuit for some non-debatable reason, e.g. because it's a given exercise, you can simply perform a transient simulation and a fourier transform with a fundamental, that covers all AM products of interest.
