Dear Everyone

I recently downoaded a new PDK which is AMIS 0.5um. I use Cadence 5.1.41, USR6. I am using Calibre to run LVS. My LVS rule file is lvs.ctrl which will invoke calibreEXTc5.rul and lvs.include.

At first, I did a simple inverter with enm(nmos) and epm(pmos). It failed LVS and the errors are that it cannot recognise the nmos and pmos in the layout and schematic respectively.

Hence, I changed the nmos and pmos parameter names in the LVS rules file(calibre EXTc5.rul & lvs.include) to enm and epm. After which, LVS works successfully with zero erros.

Then, I tried simulating a resistor(hipor) alone and did the layout as well. I run LVS but unable to extract the resistor in layout and schematic.

I tried changing the resistor parameter name in the LVS rules file but to no avail.

I hope that you would give me some advise on my next course of action.

Thank you very much
