I am doing my thesis using this particular microcontroller and truly hope to get someone to share a few basic stuffs with me... would appreciate if there is some tutorial to warm up before kick-start with my project.8-O
 

Hi,

you can browse the website of the maker of that microcontroller. The Texas Instrument. allots of information and demos regarding MSP430 are in there.
