Hi.

I'm quite new to ADS, but I think it's great. Sadly I want to use transistor models that are not in the ADS lib.

So how can I create an ADS model for simulation from a netlist file, that the transistor companys offer? I know how to do that in PSpice, but how to in ADS?

The second question is how can I create footprints for the new model I created? I want to simulate different transistors and also do Layouts for the circuits I simulated.

Are there any tutorials about those topics? Video tutorials would be great!!!

For the second part, once you make a schematic in ADS, creating footprints is easy, you can adopt any footprint available in the library.
Simply double click the schematic, in the models area click edit. In the PCB library select any, and then browse. Select the library/footprint that suits you.
For Surface Mount Devices Altium uses IPC standards , if you know the packing type you will find the footprints in the Altium footprints libraries. For more details visist:
ALDC standards

Sorry:
I thought the question was regarding Altium Designer Suite (ADS)

I just tried to use the Import... function in the ADS main window. I was able to create simulation models/subcircuits from some netlists but when I wanted to simulate them, most of the models I create couldnt been used because ADS didn't know some parts of the subcircuits. For example there were standard transistor models in one netlist called npn or pnp. PSpice was always able to use its own standard models for those names. How can I repair those models? Or is this the wrong way to create models?
