Hi!

I like to connect a touch button IC to my midi controller HALE UMC32.

The midi controller does not accept external current and have digital input.

The touch button signal is 5V.

what kind of transistor would I look for?

thanks in advance!

Linus

I think you can use 2N7000 - small signal MOSFET - that can happily take 5V signal from touch button (connected to the gate) and through the drain pin can switch digital input to GND ..
