i ve connected the ic7448 and common cathode 7 segment display as per the circuit diagram i got in the internet.. but i dono where to connect the pins 3(LT),4(BI/RBO),5(RBI) of 7448.. are these pins to be grounded or connected to the positive supply?? can someone post the working diagram for connecting 7448 to 7 seg display?

Hi,
Pin 3(LT) ia an active low input Lamp Test.
Pin 5(RBI) = Riple Blanking Input
Pin 4(BI/RBO) = Blanking Input/Riple Blanking Output

Leading edge zero supression is obtained by connecting the Riple Blanking Output(BI/RBO) of a decoder to the Riple Blanking Input (RBI) of the next lower stage device. The most significant decoder stage should have the RBI input grounded.
Since suppression of the least significant integer zero in a number is not usually desired, the RBI input of this decoder should be left open.
