In order to design an anti-rumble filterr for a preamp for driving an AUX input
with a phono output from a turntable, would I use some kind of configuration
like a pi or T netwrok, or would a simple passive high pass muli-pole multi
stage RC or LC or LR circuit be adaquate? I don't know the theory behind the
ones I see in examples on the internet, so I 'm not sure if I should copy them.
I think the input impedance of the subsequent amplifer stage would come into
play, so if I'm not using the same amp it probably wouldn't work right. I'm not
sure how nessecary the filter is. I built one without it and it sounded pretty
good. It's OK for my purposes, but if I build one for somebody else it may not
be good enough. Any suggestions?
