Hi everybody,

I am not quite sure how to describe what i am looking for, but i am searching for a PWM controlled valve that runs with a frequency of 25KHz, (open and close 25000 times/sec) and open and closes a tube with air flow

does something like this exist? where to look for it?

Thank you very much

I don't think that the question is related to PWM in any regard. It's just about a fast acting valve. I don't think that conventional electromagnetic valves can achieve the intended speed. You have to look either for special designed electromagnetic, electrodynamic ("voice-coil)" or piezo actuated valves. I know that fast acting valves are used in automotive fuel injection systems.

thanx allot. Could someone suggest a specific valve for this job?? The only thing that matters is the frequency response - everything else comes in second order

I don't sure, if gas valves in the requested speed range exist, or if they are reasonable at all. Besides inertia of the valve parts, the compressibility of the gas in conjunction with unavoidable dead volumes will basically restrict the effective operation speed. Faster piezo valves used for liquid media have strokes in a 100 µm order of magnitude, that are most likely too low for gas valves.

Below an example of moderate speed piezo gas dosing valve:
