hello people,

I'm currently doing my Final Year Project, however, I had difficulties with Matlab :(
Would really appreciate if you guys can guide me a little.

I've been given some EEG data by my mentor, she doesn't tell us how our final result should be, hence my group mate and I are struggling badly :(

She want us to find power spectrum, feed in the given EEG data and show her the figure.
However, I did some research, they doesn't seem to be talking about power spectrum, is always talking about Power spectral density. So I'm kinda confuse too.

Would like to ask, how can I obtain codes? or how can I write the codes for power spectrum and feed in with my own EEG data?

So sorry! I hope you guys can explain in layman terms, as this is the first time coming across matlab :(

Appreciate all the help given :D

Power spectral density is the quantity you display in a power spectrum or spectrogram, there's no difference. Basically, a power spectrum is the magnitude part of a the complex fourier transform output. You can use MatLab to calculate it, or even a spreadsheet calculator like MS Excel.

Thanks for your reply :) Would like to ask you guys out there, if any of you have code to power spectrum? need not be in EEG form :) ? if you do, can share with me?

Hi all,

:p I managed to work out the codes :D
I am curious, if there is any algorithm that can detect all the peaks within a frequency, and then sum them up ? :)

Anyone can guide me?

Appreciates all replies!
