Cadstar error on importing PCB archive

Hi All

I am facing problem that while importing its showing error as follows


Warning: Condition (r >= r) Not Satisfied
Invalid Required Entity detected
Path - (CADSTARPCB ([1]ASSIGNMENTS ([1]CODEDEFS ([173]SPCCLASSSPACE [3]-2147483647 ))))
Error: File content not consistent with file type.

After that its not opening any content in the PCB file

Can any body help me .

open archive in notepad and play with assignments..

if under AMC ,send to ZUEKN ,they will fix it
 

hi all

i am facing one more error that while running the Batch Process for generating the Gerber . The color file can not be restored for e. g. like if i want to have Gerber of layer 2 , it shows in the layer 1 Gerber of only the default layer like , Bottom paste, top paste , top silk , bottom silk top electric, bottom electric ,DD, NC Drill, top solder& bottom are showing right in the CAM ,but its display the attached error .

kindly help me

Can't say I have seen that one before.

Are the colour files all within the colour files path?
Tools\Options\File Locations - Colour Files.
(What version of CADSTAR are you using?)

If that is not pointing to them then it will not be able to use the colour files from within the batch file.
(Are you using an existing batch file that you have loaded in or have you just created this one?).


Did you manage to sort out your archive file?
 

I think Mattylad is right you should try creating a new colour file for your PCB because if you are using an old file it might hapeen that some layer names are not matching.

You can also try generating gerber manually for that particular layer rather than using batch file.
