How to communicate PIC16F877 and a (Nokia) phone ?

Dear All,
I am 3rd year student so I have to submit my project this year.so I decided to do SMS project with pic 16f877 and Nokia phone please advice me how can communicate with phone and pic

basiclly i know phne can communicate to pic using DTMF..

can i know what model u want to use??

as we can see the pin out have RX and TX..
that mean u can use serial communication at PIC..
so you can send data from PIC to phone and receive data from phone to PIC.

did u ever do serial communication using PIC??

Actually I have worked with EUSART with PIC simulator IDE and if you have any advice for me highly appreciate
