HI ,

i want to add an inductor to my circuit using cadence , when i add after that for 35mH i dont know how to set the parameters.

Like when i press object prperties it shows inner radius inner width and number of turns , i dont know exactly how to match it for 35mH with this specification..
please help me

thanks

At a first sight, I think your inductor is a choke inductor. It is really huge. Usually a choke inductor is external, you don't have to set the parameters in Cadence. As I know, you consider in Cadence a simple ideal inductor of 35mH. Secondly, if you need a smaller inductor (nH), used for example in LNAs, you have to see if your process allows you to fully design an inductor in Cadence (in layout). If not, you have to design the inductor in an Electromagnetic Simulator (HFSS) and after that to import the circuit in Cadence. Smaller technologies (65nm and 40nm) allow you to design even on-chip transformers. Even in that case, you must be sure that the parameters you set in Cadence give you what you wish. Good luck!
