i connectd my e50 with my laptop through ft232 board working at 3v3 i/o. i soldered connections as
FBUS-RX ----------> FT232-TX
FBUS-TX ----------> FT232-RX
GND ---------------> GND

i tried using AT command but no response from phone. i even tried my 6210 navigator but the same story with that too... i tested my usb-serial board by shorting tx-rx line and tried sending data and it works correct, so my usb-serial board is not faulty.

I used FBUS communication with old NOKIA phones 3310, & 5110 5 years back. I remember the Mobile supports TTL voltage level RS232 signals. FT232 gives output +12V & -12V. Mobile requires 3.3V/5.0V. You can try this using RS232 to TTL level converter.

Hello.

I tried to use fbus commands on my NOKIA 5210 but I get no response. I followed tutorial on to send a code to get software and firmware version. I am using 3.3V microcontroller, so logic level shuldn't be a problem. I also tested signals from Tx of my microcontroller to NOKIA Rx and they are as they should be. Still no response.

Does somebody have any idea what could be wrong?

Thank You for very much for answers.
