hi all
can anybody provide me with the entire procedure for rf planning of a cdma2000 network....starting from the begining..em doing job in cdma2000 company...want to learn about the rf planning as well ...like how to design a network and implemnt it and testing and optimizing it...can anyone provide me with the required book here....also does anyone has the IEEE book named as ".a guide to wireless engineering a body of knowledge"..i desperatly need this book...please help me out here..i b realy greatfull

hello,

as such there is no RF planning in CDMA2000 or UMTS system. There is a PN or SC planning. As we are using same frequency through out the network so there is no Frequency planning there. However you have to plan or assign PN code according to your Radio Configuration. As far as I know there 512 PN. You have to assign each Sector a unique PN, although PN repeatation is allowed after one cluster probably. PN plan in maner like Site A (Sector A=1, Sector B=4,Sector C=7) you may notice a d/f of 2 in PN planning the more d/f better the Ec/Io.
