require help as a biggner on pic microcontroller

I am a biggner and I want to be aprogrammer of pic microcontroller.
kindly tall me which microcontroller will be suitable for me and tell me refrences form where i have to read about it.
and i also want to learn microcontroller's programming in c languase.
please help me..

whatever suits your needs will be suitable for you.

read the datasheet over and over and over again.
 

as i m biggner i dont know which microcontroller i have to study first
 

then study the one that suits your needs.

For that you have to find out the requirement & based on that select ur microcontroller.

For testing purpose u can go for any of the microcontroller. Better to go for PIC microcontroller.

Read as much as possible data sheet

practice with sample come in books and u can fine books here by searching !!
 

You can start by getting a development kit,
There are some sample program that are supplied with the kit. It can also help...

Regarding C programming, get some literature on C to get a feel for the language. It is also better to make use of an ANSI C compiler, or one very close for microcontrollers. The Hi-TECH PIC compiler is not bad.
 

Start with a PIC16F84A, there seems to be the highest number of basic tutorials based on that particular microcontroller.


Once you figure that one out, the rest will slowly fall into place :)
