I need to know about fire detection sensors, their cost and from where i can get them.
I am doing a small project so the sensor must be cost effective.
please give me a reply if you have any idea

Hi
sir
I need to sense a fire in a room. The sensor should immediately sense the fire and the user.

For room you can use Smoke Sensor or Flame Detector.

Smoke Sensor will rise the alarm only the smoke enter the detector normally the detector will be fixed on the ceiling of the protected room.
Advantage it can detect smoldering fire (Burn slowly with smoke but no flame)
Disadvantage smoke reaching the Sensor depends on the intensity of the smoke and air movement.

Flame Sensor will rise the alarm when the sensor detects a flame (ultraviolet ray)
Advantage it can detect small flame immediately
Disadvantage it will not Detect smoldering fire.

Choosing the sensor and qty depend on the room size and the material used/stored on the room.
Choosing the sensor and qty has to be with great care because it can save life.
