Hi everyone,
I am working on an application where Atmega8L is interfaced to SIM300 and the purpose of the application is to send SMS on trigger.
After the communication setting is done, i am waiting for a trigger to come and then am sending "AT+CPBR=7\r\n" which means the required no is at 7th location of the sim memory.
To send SMS "AT+CMSS=1," command is issued followed by number returned by the previous command which gives the number at 7th location and then "\r\n" is issued.
This should send the SMS with the contents at SIM message location 1 but nothing is received at the number specified.
Now I doubt if there is any message stored at 1st location in SIM memory.
How to read the message stored in 1st location of SIM memeory through any standard cell phone or is there any other way to send SMS.
Any example or link would be helpful.
