hey,

i would like to charge 24V 12Ahr battery.
this battery is built from two of these battery connecected in serious:

**broken link removed**

i don't really know how to design a chrager scheme but i do have experience in building and soledering on a board by electric scheme.

at my home i have 230V AC electricity, so we will have to use some big transformer, may be from 230V AC to 30V-35V 2A-4A (just thinking... if it can be built with more proper transformer i would to hear another idea...)

i don't mind to make a good one so it will serve me a long time. therefore i would like to have few importanat things in these chager:
1. it has to be "smart charger" which will disconnect the battery at the end of the charge proccess, or keep it in contastant charge at low amps as lead acid batteries should be (as far as i know).
2. the charging proccess should be the quickest, but not harmful to the battery, that beacause i would like to use most of battery life cycles.
3. it is recommended to use the IC UC3909 for this charger (i think it is the IC used for charching lead acid batteries)

sorry for my grammer, and thank you!

Are you hoping to charge 2 in series.
