hai friends,
i request anyone to sugest a protocol for communicating between embedded modules.
Requirements:
1. 150 to 200m range.
2. 128 devices to be connected.
3. my microcontroller is MSP 430F2132
4. EACH 128 modules have separate sensor system based on
same MC.
5. i require a low cost but reliable soln.

its for a project on parking lot management.

Hi,
What transfer speed do you want?
If you just use low speed, maybe zigbee is fit your project.

Re: wireless protocol for communication between microcontrol

only moderate data rate required.
but i need over 100m range can zigbee be efficent.

Hi

Looks at ti site they have nice and free protocol for wireless device network

Source code is also available in C language

All the best

Use zigbee if you have plenty of program memory to spare, or you could also use the Miwi protocol from Microchip. See link below
