Hello All,

I am trying to design an IIR filter using VHDL with very little knowledge about Filters,

A 1st order IIR filter with serial data input - & serial data output.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

You should start in Matlab.

Type "fdatool" in command window and execute, FDAtool pops up.

You can use HDL generator option in the FDAtool for some architecture types but it can not generate every type of filter.
