Hi all!!!! I need to construct an ultra low cost (less than US$2.50) transmitter. 0dB output power, OOK modulated, stable (maybe SAW stabilized), 433 or 432 MHZ, 2.5 to 3.3V power supply. Need only the Tx circuit (the modulation signal comes ready from another circuit). Low power consumption is a need. Could anyone help me with circuits (practical articles welcome), please?
Have searched through internet but found only ready kits and products selling over US$6.00. The Rx circuit is not a problem. Need only 30m reach. I have large practice with PCB routing but have never routed a RF PCB.
Best regards to all.

HI ,.
I used a MELEXIS circuit (TH7120) as i recall the price in quantities is $2.50 .Now this circuit is a TRANSCEIVER .. But in your application you just need to use the transmitter part .!
by the way the same chip also works in other bands .(60 mhz up to 1 ghz)
Check it out .!

I forgot to mention

There are others that i have used in the past :

QwikRadio from micrel MICRF102 $1.60

Microchip also has several inexpensive trasnsmitters and even one that is a microcontroller with transmitter built in .!
Prices are also low . .!

They also have transmitter ICs which should be cheaper than the tranceiver ICs. **broken link removed** is a summary of all of their RF products. The total cost of the circuitry may be dominated by the external parts like the crystal.
