Any 8051 device that has enough memory to satisfy the needs of your application which is something that nobody knows but you.
If you want to know whether a particular chip will be on the market for a while, you need to contact the vendor or at least name the chip to get feedback on the forum.
First of you have to find out the requirement. What exactly you want to microcontroller. Then ask the vendor for your requirement. Generally PIC, Atmel, Intel,Renesas are few of the good micro controllers available on the market.
i think the original post is on what controllers suitable for rtx51 and rtxtiny?.
but where does pic and atmega comes in ?
rtxtiny is for all 8051 types with only 1kbytes of kernel code.
rtx51 is a full fledged one.
rtx51tiny uses round-robin task switching and cooperative multitasking only. Preemptive task switching and task priorities are not supported in rtxtiny.
for fullfledged multitasking and realtime kernel rtx51 is suitable.
hope it helps.
