Job Description:-

PCB Layout Designer Job Description:

Sound knowledge in

• PCB Designing flow from Library creation to Gerber release to FAB.
• High speed Constraints setting using Constraints Manager
• Hands-on experience in Designing High-speed, multilayer PCB designs
• Auto-routing the critical/ non-critical signals
• IPC Standards for Footprint Creation and Layout process
• Exposure to all relevant IPC standards & MIL Standard design practices
• DFx (DFA, DFM & DFT) checks
• Should have hands-on expertise on standard High Speed Digital, Analog & Mixed signal Design viz Infiniband, IOH, QPI,HSSI, DDR3/2/1, PCI-e, XAUI , SATA, FSB, USB, Ethernet, Optical interface etc
• DRC and Post-processing (Gerber Settings, FAB & Assembly files generation)
• Quality checks for Footprints, PCB Layout file, FAB & Assembly files
• Interaction with Design team and Mechanical team for Clarification and Reviews
• Expertise on Server, Mother Board, Automotive, Networking, Backplanes & Aeronautics/ Space application boards

EDA Tools:
1. Cadence Allegro V15.7, V16.1 & V16.2
2. Mentor Graphics BoardStation EN2004, EN2005.3 & BSTN2006
3. Mentor Graphics Expedition 2005 & 2007
Advantage:
• Knowledge on Schematics Design using OrCAD/ Concept-HDL/ Dx Designer.
• BOM Generation
• Valor Enterprise 3000
• Expert knowledge of Signal Integrity in High Speed board design will be an added advantage
