Sound like an interesting project.
However, do you know where to start?
I hope you have a brief idea of how to do your project before you submit.
As my TA said. You need to do some homework before other people will be willing to help you.

Have you considered mistake-ability of "false positives" and "false negatives" and "true negatives" in voice recognition.
i.e. It hears noise or radio voice and executes by mistake...
It hears valid voice command and ignores you.
It hears valid voice command and does something different that sounds similiar.

These error rates must be defined up front and characterized into actual S/N or SNR of the voice being captured and identify all sources of noise then verified for command error rate. It is based on Shannon's Law and real world voice capturing issues for quality as well as state of the art SIRI and Voice Recogition. software.

Without this being done, any effort is pointless. You need a spec for Command Error Rate for false + true negative.
