Questions regarding APB bus with embedded ARM

I am designing a Soc on chip that will use ARM7 core, four Δ-Σ ADC are needed too. I know APB bus is needed as interface between ADC and ARM7 core, but don't have any experience with APB, can anyone give me an introduction or info on this topic? Thanks.
