Hello Edaboard-Community,
a friend of mine complains about disturbance throughout the night. She discribes a "klack" sound followed by uneasiness accompanied by fast heart beat, both fading away after some minutes. She suspects that her neighbour uses some kind of electronical device that emits strong signals, which also seem to amplify the radios output volume.
Now my question: Do you know any device that could cause the described effect thus is that even possible?
Thank you beforehand for any response

I think you need a medical forum not an electronic one. My guess would be a sound causing sudden awakening which creates a high heart rate through anxiety/adrenaline.

Yes I know and I'm aware of the possiblity of it but still I'd still like to be sure and check out all the possiblities as I've heard (documentary of Tesla) there's some kind of application of super-sonic waves in the military.
Do you think this is impossible?

I know the military experimented with Subsonic waves at around 7 hertz. Supposed to vibrate internal organs. Dont think they had much luck with it though, not much good as a weapon, as much a danger to the operators as the enemy, definitely not directional at that sort of frequency.

Is this a joke?

I seriously doubt her neighbour got his hands on some Sci-Fi Military equipment.

Perhaps your friend has a sleep dirsorder. Or may be she's been watching too much "The Fringe". Or both.
