Hello,
I am new to Image Processing. I have a task to find a unique area within an image. For eg. Given an image A(say of size 200x200), a unique area(of size 10x10) has to be found in A. So that the unique area we get will have least correlation anywhere in the image A except for the unique area.
I am using INtel IPP libraries.
Can someone help me on this?

Thanks in advance

You need find correlation of each part of image. Or find two dimension correlation, but this is the same. If your area can rotate and/or scale you need use affine transfer for your unique area.

The same operation use fractal encoder.

you can find correlation example in the matlabs help.
also you should 10x10 correlation on the image and at the end of each correlation you will get a value. the lowest values pixels is the your uniqe area.
