Spectre simulation

HI, All,

I am a newbie to use spectre. I have several questions to start with

1. I have do a dc analysis, and an output directory dc.raw/ is created. Howe to see the waveform? I have tried the AWD (analog waveform display) but I can't load the file in dc.raw
2. I have used spp to translate the spice netlist and the input .sp to
.scs, but there is lots of errors, how to make this translation faster ?
3. Does spectre only support Bsim3V3 model ? How about level 28 ?

Please help me with any suggestion.

Re: Spectre simulation

If you use Analog Artist Enviroment you don't have to care about this directories and AWD. All of this managed by this enviroment. Just invoke this from schematic window.
Level 28 is HSpice model and it isn't supported by Spectre.

Re: Spectre simulation

Hi,
Fom is right.

- If you drauw your schematic selcet tools->analog environment to start analog design environment.
- there you setup your simulation and save properties and start the simulation.
- After the simulation is finished you open the ResultBrowser with Tools -> Result Browser.
- Then you select the directory where the result files are and then you can browse through the directory and view netlist, parameter and results.

greetings,
