Hello all

I am welding a box together with a RF Mosfet Transistor in; are there any precautions I should take? Or will this kill the mos straight away? Thanks for any help.

The welding currents are very large. You should use gas welding methods. Or can you remove the electronics before you do the welding?

Rf mosfet can get a large current

Why you should rf mosfet instead Power mosfet?

I would think arc welding would be fine. Arc welders work in the 10 to 60 Volt range, so you are not talking about huge voltages anywhere. I would only be worried if you had any large wound coils in the circuit. If you want to be safe, wrap the electronics as well as you can in a single piece of aluminum foil while you weld away.
