Dear Friends,

I am looking for an:
"8 bit shift register with separate parallel in/parallel out"
simillar to SN74199 which has gone obsolete.

Any suggestions ?

Hmm..anything to do with ASIC? (o;


What about the ´ls299 from TI?
Using CPLD instead as an option?
 

I are ready know 74LS299, but it is multiplexed (input/output) with 3state.

I need seprate I/O without 3state.

Well...you didn´t mention anything about pin-compability...

I would still suggest as above going with CPLD...even if you find some comparable part it might be obsolete soon also (o;

BTW: In Quartus II the 74199 symbol is included (o;
